Quick Facts

Freeda has raised €3.4 million in funding to advance its AI-powered platform for reviewing construction plans with greater speed and accuracy.

The Paris-based startup combines artificial intelligence with domain experts in architecture, fire safety and accessibility to detect hidden errors in building plans.

Founded in late 2024 by Peter Starr (CEO), Augustin Perraud (COO), Charles Desbaux (CTO) and Mariano Rodriguez (CSO), Freeda has targeted the architecture and construction sectors.

Its technology has already reviewed over 10,000 plans in 2025 for more than 10 clients and aims to scale to analysing 1 million plans by 2026.

Using Freeda’s system, errors that typically take over 100 hours of manual verification can be flagged within 48 hours, improving cost control and project timelines.

Freeda intends to use the new capital to expand its AI engineering team, hire architects and field engineers in France, and scale operations across Europe, the UK, US and Middle East.

Investors in the round include FRST (lead) and Brick & Mortar Ventures among other backers.
